Former “growing pains” have been found, the actor Andrew Koenig on Thursday shot dead in a wooded area in a public park in the middle of the sprawling city, where he enjoyed spending time, apparently after committing suicide.

Actor, father of Walter Koenig, said, “My son took his life,” said police spokeswoman Jana McGuinness said: “I’ll let Mr. Koenig, in the words speak for themselves.”

“He was obviously in a lot of pain,” said Walter Koenig, referring depression over his son’s life.

McGuinness, who was speaking at a press conference in the garden, said in a plot was not involved, but said it could not be more specific, because the prosecutor, the assumption of the investigation.

He came to love Vancouver after shooting a television there, and lived there for three years.
