Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 2010 : It was interesting to see some celebrities in attendance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony Monday night at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, I did not expect. Meryl Streep was there looking
Wonderful and I would like to add. For a moment I thought this might be the last film awards. Yes, I was surprised and then I realized it was the music and show first and foremost. This was the first time the induction ceremony, watched from the beginning to the end. It was four and a half hours in length.
What I liked in this concert unique is that each person gets a chance to deliver a speech. There seems to be a time limit, but nothing like it in the Oscars or Grammys. Also, the performance of recruits anywhere from 1 to 3 songs on the basis of their preferences. There were three artists that have been inducted on Monday night that I felt worthy of recruiting. Some thought it does not belong there, but I beg to differ. Every year there are clamoring to why this artist or the artist that were not recruited. No one at all will be happy to do so. Joel Peresman, President and Executive Director of theRock and Roll Hall of Fame as saying last year when it was announced that recruits “and the recruits represent a large cross-section of artists that identify and extensive history of rock and roll and the people that have contributed immeasurably to our work,” With this in mind Here are some salient points of theRock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremonies.
