NATO must stop fleeing Taliban: Spokesman and Public : RAWALPINDI: Major-General Athar Abbas, Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (PR), said that the flow across the border into Afghanistan and Pakistan, which hinder the campaign to crush the Taliban.

“We are along the entire length. I must say that the border is a shared responsibility,” he said in his presentation of the Royal Institute for United Services, a think tank in London.

“NATO must stop the flow across the border.”

According to Maj. Gen. Abbas, and there are now 821 checkpoints of the Pakistani army on the border, but only 112 of the Afghan army or NATO post.

A senior official said that al-Qaeda “leaders have great difficulty in communication and they have been deprived of freedom of movement.”

It also claims that the factions within the Afghan Taliban movement has begun to fight Al Qaeda, mostly Arabs in al-Qaeda and their allies in recent weeks.
