Chicago Cubs

Chicago Cubs open the 2010 campaign facing the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field at 3:10 CST today for the first time in club history. Only four other times has a Cubs and Braves met in their first match.

The last competition in Wrigley Field in 1993, when Greg Maddux pitched his first game as a brave and block the way for the Cubs, 1-0, on 8 1 / 3 shifts of work. Maddux went on to win the CY Young Award in '93, '94, and ... In '95.
