Seth Wescott, is there along with Nate Holland to compete for the gold medal on Monday’s Men’s competition at Vancouver 2010.

Seth Wescott, the American snowboarder was born in June 1976 in North Carolina and he lives in Carrabassett Valley-Maine. Seth Wescott has snowboard under his body when he was just 7. Seth Wescott has gained his training while snowboarding in the mountains at Cordova- Alaska and Sugarloaf-Maine. Seth Wescott won the gold medal in 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin- Italy despite the fact it was his debut Olympics. Most recently he has won silver in Winter X Games 14.

Snowboard cross were included in Winter Olympics in 2006 when a tumble of Nate Holland left him at 14th place and his long time rival Seth Wescott garland with the gold.

In the present Winter Olympics Vancouver 2010, both Seth Wescott and Nate Holland will be competing at Cypress Mountain at a winding course that is shaped by hauling snow from higher elevations. The course that seems firm at the start
will be on loose and there would be lot of jumps and twists on the granular snow.

The snowboarders are expecting an unintentional smokescreen caused by the lead rider for all those following him closely and will be nearly like motocross in the mud. According to Nate Holland the course does not carry any dangerous or risky spots but people will find it hard to maintain
