
Tea partiers have had to have reason to party big time.
Moderate Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski, ranked second in the Alaska Senate primary - although the final results will not likely be known for more than a week.
Murkowski, who was thought to be a win against Palin-backed challenger Sarah Jo Miller, is behind nearly 2500 of the votes with 84% of the electoral districts.
If Murkowski is located, said she wanted to be a member of the Senate's current loss and the third so far this year, following Republican Bob Bennett, Republican and Democrat-turned-Arlen Specter, --.
Miller said in the Daily News that Palin Marina support was critical.
"I am quite confident that the central," he said.
And consider the race to be a litmus test for the tea party, which supported Miller, and a continuation of the battle between Palin and Murkowski family.
