Janmashtami Celebrations!

When I was back home in India who live with their parents, surrounded by hundreds of cousins, second and third loads we celebrate the festivals. Sometimes I would even joke with my mother, who seems to be a Hindu religious festival day is unique. Mom and respond immediately: "Yes, and the gift of life, and this also in the Karma Bhoomi, that is Bharat alias India is in fact reason enough to celebrate each day we lived there." Perhaps this is why most Hindus in America, including me, are hardly aware of the exact dates of the many festivals that we have celebrated if we were in our home. Recently I got a mail from Kripalu Yog Jagadguru for Krishna Janmashtami celebrations are in the organization of Plano, Texas for the benefit of all Hindus in the region.
