Detailed report of Sialkot incident sent to CM


A detailed report based upon the investigations of murder of two brothers in Sialkot has been sent to Interior Department Punjab and Chief Minister’s Secretariat. According to the report, police should greater negligence than the public; however both of these brothers were innocent.
The report was prepared by intelligence agencies upon the orders of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, according to which both the brothers had a quarrel with some people of Buttar Village, few days prior to this incident. This barbaric act started at 5 am on 15th August 2010. The rescue district emergency officer Kamal Abid was also present at the scene. It is also mentioned in the report that RPO and former DPO Waqar Chohan have showed negligence regarding this incident.
DG Rescue also stated that we tried to save both the brothers while police reached the scene quite late.
DG Rescue Dr. Rizwan Naseer said that our duty is to save lives of other people; however we have been only trained for rescue operation and not for law enforcement. Talking to media in Sialkot, he said that our rescue crew tried to save these brothers from the violent mob. Although rescue workers managed to free both the brothers and took them to rescue office but the violent mob reached there and managed to take them away as there was no sign of police around. He also said the he strongly condemns this barbaric act in which two innocent brothers got murdered.
