The 32nd annual San Francisco Marathon kick-off on 07.25.2010. It is expected to draw over 24,000 runners in the races other place too.
The 26.2 miles marathon is expected to disrupt traffic, but the word of officials say the roads will be opened by 12:20.
The full marathon starts at 5:30, followed by the first half-marathon in 6:32. 5k/Progressive from the Marathon is 7:45 and the second half marathon starts at 8:15.
The San Francisco Marathon is full of history since its inception in 1977. On 10.07.1977, Athol Barton won the first marathon in San Francisco, and won a t-shirt for his feat. Now all participants receive a t-shirt contest. The San Francisco Marathon is known as one of the best marathons in the country.
