In an interview on CBS Sunday Morning today, Vega announced that she is re-recording most of her songs in a 4-album acoustic series called “Suzanne Vega: Close Up.”
This totally made my day – found via Joe Mugg’s Very Very Much, Tom’s Diner was a song I tortured the customers in my Grandpa’s bar with back in the day by tapping loads of credits on the jukebox (such folly to give me the key) and putting it on repeat.
