Many major issues, including regional cooperation, and the formation of an Asian community cooperation between Korea and Malaysia, and bilateral, and green industries and Islamic finance, which was discussed by members of the Committee and discussed at the forum, the work of the recently concluded South Korea and Malaysia.

The Forum was hosted by Dr. Chang Dae-whan, and Chairman of the Group Business and the media cross on which is the largest network of media businesses in South Korea. Dr. Chang sits in many of the Main Committees in Korea, including the prestigious Presidential Advisory Council and committees at the free-trade agreements and other areas. The acting prime minister of South Korea in 2002.

Asia is one part of a series of World Knowledge Forum, founded by Dr. Zhang and headed by him. WKF held in many other major cities including Shanghai and Hong Kong, Dubai and Hanoi and others.

Many of the major Korean companies such as Samsung is investing heavily in next-generation technology - renewable energy. Islamic finance is becoming a popular option for the Korean companies.

Many industry leaders and members of the Malaysian Council of Ministers, such as Dr. Peter Chen, Mukhriz Mahathir also spoke at the forum. The Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, Dr Mahathir Mohamed to the public through recorded messages.

The Forum was attended by business leaders more than 300, and policy makers and civil servants from both countries. Later, represented by Dr. Zhang works cross on the media to the signing of memorandums of understanding the group with many of the major media news of several regional, including groups Publications Star (M) Berhad, which was represented in the Managing Director / CEO Linda Datin Ngiam.
