Salt Lake City Marathon began marathon this morning with nearly 12,000 people to participate fully and 5k, and a half tour of the bike. Started in the city of Salt Lake Marathon runners near the hill, and drive at a bridge Wasatch legacy of the Olympics. And closed some roads along the way until 1 pm. Marathon in the city center near the Mall of the end words.
It has grown marathon seventh annual Salt Lake City, about 25% since last year. Tracks station was opened in Murray at 3:45 this morning to accommodate the participants and urged them to start on time.
Mall of the words had opposed the establishment of the tents at the finish line. And 4,000 participants signed up for the 5K this morning, and begins and ends in the statement.
Should be drivers in the downtown area the center of traffic and expect some road closures until about 1 pm.
