Died Meinhardt Raabe (94 years), which is considered the oldest living actor who played in the film The Wizard of Oz Munchkin 1939, on Friday in the garden of oranges in Florida, according to The New York Times. He was 23 years old Rabi when he appeared in The Wizard of Oz and the forensic doctor at Munchkindland. Through his role, speaking in short, Rabi announced the death of the wicked witch in the East through singing and the forensic doctor: "I have boots / I'm a thorough study her / she is not only a just dead / She really, most sincerely dead!"
Rabe was born in Watertown, Wisconsin in 1915. Took after graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 1937, Rabbi joined Oscar Mayer vendors, to become known as the Oscar for Little Meat Company, and "the world's smallest chef." Raby has spent nearly 30 years with Oscar Mayer, but in 1938, a leave to go to Hollywood and audition for the Wizard of Oz. Since the launch of the film, Rabi made regularly appearing in the conventions and events to commemorate the film. Joined in 2005, Rabbi published autobiography, Memories of Munchkin: an event fee to walk in the yellow brick road, and in 2007, and six other surviving Munchkin actors get star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in Hollywood. Raby also served stateside as a pilot in the Civil Air Patrol during World War II. He left behind a sister, Marion Ziegelmann. Died and his wife Mary Hartline, in 1997
