Sarah Palin Jay Leno : Some of you are still up, so here’s what I’ve got:
-Ilana Angel from the Jewish Journal describes how she became “friends” with Governor Palin yesterday.
-James Pethokoukis read Mitt Romney’s book and concludes that whatever “the merits of Romney’s ideas, they’re out of sync with his party.”
-Chris Spielman from ESPN will introduce Palin at the Ohio Right to Life event this Friday.
-The biggest loser from yesterday’s Texas GOP primary? Anybody who believed the Texas 2012 GOP primary poll that PPP(D) recently released. PPP(D) was off by a mile with its final Texas poll, showing a 40-31 Perry-Hutchinson lead while Rasmussen and other pollsters showed a 20-point margin for Perry. If the excuse is that every undecided voter went to Perry, then no pollster would ever be wrong because they could rely on the same argument to explain why they were so off with their polling. It appears that PPP(D) found too moderate of a sample (even the self-identified conservatives were probably too moderate judging by how off PPP(D) was with the final margin). The 2012 Texas GOP primary poll that came from that sample is probably collateral damage at this point.
I’d suggest that we all wait until tomorrow to determine what’s going on with the story about a ‘planet-Earth type look” at Alaska. For those of you concerned in the event that the story checks out, here is a counterargument from Hillbuzz.
