Hockey World Cup

New Delhi: Two days after India beat arch-rivals Pakistan 4-1, and crush the hosts Australia 5-2 in the second pool match of the World Cup of Hockey Stadium, Major Dhyan Chand on Tuesday.

The performance was a triumphant Australians, who dominated all through the game. Glenn Turner, the star performer, who scored twice, while William De Young, Luke Doerner Desmond Abbott and scored one goal, respectively.

Vikram Pillay and captain Rajpal Singh was the top scorer for India.

Captain Rajpal Singh scored the second goal for his team at a time when Australia had dominated the match with a 5-1 lead in a triumphant.

Glenn Turner, who was making a more prominent Australian domination when a fifth goal to give the 5-1 lead his team in the 43rd minute only after Luke Doerner 4-1 to give his team in the minute 42nd.

Earler, nine seconds before the first half of the year, Vikram Pillay, scored the first goal for India after receiving a cross from the right wing.

However, it seemed Australia’s dominant, scoring three goals in the first half. In the 26th minute Desmond Abbott scored the third goal.
