Freedom Writers : Mobile (Alabama – Teacher Jenny Cory did not know when Vigor won in high school students on a field trip to see the movie “Freedom Writers” in 2007 just how it will affect their lives and teaching style.
The film was adapted from the true story of teacher Erin Gruwell, who taught students in the Interior city of Long Beach, California, in the wake of race riots.
The situation was familiar to the classroom Corrie, which is guided by the students themselves through the difficulties faced at home and in their homes in the neighborhoods – drugs, violence, teenage pregnancy and other challenges.
