Fisher Stevens : The Cove, as we all know was about to kill dolphins. Movie making staff had risked their lives during a secretly filmed in Japan. Objective of the film is to gain support for the issue to save dolphins from the killings in the future. Director of Cove wanted to win the Academy Award for the documentary film to deliver the message to the billions of fans, but Fisher Stevens failed to do so in his acceptance speech after being awarded the Oscar. One wonders whether he is really committed to the cause, produced the film simply because he was impressed by the theme unique.

Fisher Stevens is a famous actor and is best known for his role in an early edition of the CBS series. He started his career working out of phase at the age of 14 and since then has acted in 20 plays.

The Cove was the first documentary Fisher Stevens had co-produced. Film revealed cruel practices of the citizens of Tai Chi. Production staff faced many difficulties and shooting took months because of the killing a dolphin was stopped for some time because of the presence of the BBC and CNN journalists to cover this issue. Japanese people do not view it as an illegal activity for them, its simple. Some fishermen fortunate enough to get in a dolphin to the arrest of about one hundred thousand dollars while the lowest price is in the hundreds of dollars. And Westerners believe that the dolphin is a fish threatened with extinction and in need of protection activists so many have joined the cause to save this beautiful creature.
