Eri Yoshida

Eri Yoshida
Eri Yoshida ; Stephen King said it had the right idea, just the wrong jar. King Abdullah, “The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon” focused on the former Boston faithful with the curve is great, but in real life version includes Tim Wakefield at the age of adolescence and Japanese Eri Yoshida knuckleball sensation.

As indicated in this story, Eri Yoshida fell for knuckleball while growing up in Japan and taught herself on the pitch by watching a video of Wakefield. It was drafted by an independent team in the J. League, and met Wakefield this week, while in the States United States States to pitch in the Arizona Winter independent football.

It’s very far from throwing in a few rounds of independent league to be paid at Fenway Park, but Eri Yoshida is just another female athlete to cross the gender lines. Perhaps David Stern is optimistic in suggesting that a woman can play in the NBA within a decade, but what is the most important story that is already unfolding with women compete with men?
