Worcester, Massachusetts) (AFP) – Russia’s Maxim Devyatovskiy was defeated in the depths of man in the field to win the American Cup, the first international event of the season gymnastics.
American Rebecca Bross won the gold medal on Saturday, before the completion of 15-year-old American Alexandra Raisman, who comes from about 45 miles in Needham, in the strong showing for the Americans.
American Jonathan Horton, the leader after four events, and scored only 13.70 in the next event to another – parallel bars – and was second in the overall standings.
