WASHINGTON – The Minister of Transport, Ray LaHood now says he made a mistake when we say Toyota owners referred to stop driving after that.
Instead, Lahoud says transferred to the agents to get them repaired.
Lahoud told reporters that “it is clear that these errors” when he told a committee in the House earlier on Wednesday that he will advise owners not to drive cars recalled. His comments came during testimony before the Appropriations subcommittee on transportation.
Toyota’s latest recall in the United States affects 2.3 million cars with the possibility of disagreement gas pedals.
