The website said this means “the federal agencies in the Washington, DC, and to be closed. Its non-emergency (including workers in the pre-approved leave) will be given to excuse the absence of the number of hours that was scheduled to work.”

It is noted that the staff work remotely may still need to report for work on time, and staff in emergency situations and is also expected to report.
