Cliff Tucker’s : College Park, Maryland – Maryland, Georgia Tech trailed by one point with 1.5 seconds left when coach Gary Williams called for the play is a key element in each exercise.

Eric Hayes scored 15 for Maryland and Jordan Williams has not nine points and 12 rebounds. The win gave the turtle (19-7, 9-3) sole possession of second place inthe ACC.

Prefer 21 points and 18 rebounds, both the highest of the season, and Iman Shumpert scored 17 for the Yellow Jackets (18-9, 6-7).Georgia Tech is 1-6 to the road in the ACC and lost nine in a row in the state of Maryland since February 2004.

Tucker shot ruined the otherwise outstanding performance by the Yellow Jackets.

“I was in shock. I could not believe it,” said Favors.

“We probably played our best game this season,” said coach Paul Hewitt. “What do you say? Child who shot piercing.”

After watching his team struggle on the road for many of the season, Hewitt was through the promotion of technical and performance in the defeat.

“We did everything you’re supposed to do against this team better than anyone we have in the league with the exception of Duke University,” he said. “I think we are on the verge of something big.”

Maryland improved to 12-1 at home, including 6-0 in the conference.

Hayes hit a 3 – pointer with 1:19 left to give Maryland leads 71-68. After the end of the game gave Favors, Dino Gregory failed at the end of the game for the turtles. Would prefer a statue of him 17th for the recovery of the Yellow Jackets, who had been given to set up a play.
