Centralia Pa Coal Fire: Centralia, PA used to be a coal-mining town, back in 1962. In 1962, a fire began burning beneath the ground and the fire of Centralia, PA still continues to burn to this day. People have refused to move, loving the homes that the people of Centralia, PA have built there. The government however want the people of Centralia, PA to move away from the fires, of course. The fire of Centralia, PA shows no signs of burning out. The goverenment have used domain laws to remove residents by buying up the town to move the people ofCentralia, PA out. Now, in 2010, there are fewer then a dozen residents remaining in the town eternally burning, Centralia, PA.
