Toyota Recall January 2010
January 21, 2010 – Toyota Motor Corporation issued a voluntary recall for the set of 2.3 million vehicles in the United States. These vehicles have problems with faulty accelerator pedals.

Brian Lyons, company spokesman, said that the recall has been made to fix the vehicles accelerator pedal that seems to be getting stuck. Other problems like the loose floor mats is not included in the recall. This issue was set to be sepparated.

Toyota’s reputation has been damaged by this sets of recalls. Factors of safety issues might be a problem for the company as they took the recall last year and now a new set was made again.toyota-recall

The car models included in the recall are the 2009-2010 RAV4, the 2009-2010 Corolla, the 2009-2010 Matrix, the 2005-2010 Avalon, the 2007-2010 Camry, the 2010 Highlander, the 2007-2010 Tundra, and the 2008-2010 Sequioia.

Investigations were made to comply to the recall. Accident reports regarding the faulty pedals of cars. “Toyota will continue to investigate incidents of unwanted
acceleration and take appropriate measures to address any
trends that are identified,” Toyota said.

Car mechanism is one of the big factor to be safe. If all were set to be safe, but the car is not, then all our action will be in risk.
