Scott Brown Daughter , Ayla Brown

Scott Brown Daughter , Ayla Brown

It’s all over. The Boston Globe and Washington Post are both reporting that Martha Coakley (D) has called Scott Brown (R) to concede the special U.S. Senate election in Massachusetts. The Associated Press is also calling the race for Brown.

Update: Scott Brown’s daughter tells the media that Coakley has conceded.

Update II: To underscore just how big of an upset victory Brown’s win is, no Republican has represented Massachusetts in the U.S. Senate since 1978. The seat Brown just won has been held since 1953 — when John F. Kennedy was elected.

More: Hot Air is finally functioning again.

Martha Coakley tells her supporters they own every aspect of her campaign. Also, they’re part of her “dysfunctional” family. To think this woman lost.
