Rihanna Performs ‘Rated R’ Tracks live in London
Rihanna Performs ‘Rated R’ Tracks live in London: Pop sensation Rihanna revealed new music from her upcoming album “Rated R” in her first live performance since she was beaten by former boyfriend Chris Brown last February.
Performing at London’s Brixton Academy, Rihanna debuted her single “Russian Roulette” to London concert fans as well as to an international audience via a live streamed broadcast by mobile phone manufacturer, Nokia. The 45 minute concert also showcased new songs “Wait Your Turn” and “Hard” from the forthcoming “Rated R” as well as her well known hits. In a surprise guest appearance Rihanna was joined on stage by rap star Jay-Z for finale performances of his recent single “Run This Town” and her hit “Umbrella”. “Rated R” is scheduled for release on November 23.
Brown pleaded guilty to the assault last June and on August 25 was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to take one year of counselling for domestic violence as well as 180 days community service. The disgraced R&B star was also served with a five year restraining order which requires him to remain 300 feet from Rihanna or 30 feet at public events.
