The entire Bachchan khandaan was there — Amitabh himself, wife Jaya, son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan — and their closest friend Amar Singh. We hear Big B postponed the celebrations by a day since he was shooting for a TV program through the day.
Bollywood log, musicians, friends and well wishers of the family ensured there was a packed hall; the evening comprised a remembrance of the legendary poet through a recital of some of his poems and songs.
Among the loads of attendees were Kokilaben and Tina Ambani, Munira and Nana Chudasama, Ashutosh Rana, Sachin Khedekar, a bearded Bikram Saluja with wife Schauna and Rahul Bose.
