Shelby Lynne will be making a guest appearance on the Lifetime series Army Wives on Aug. 9. Playing a character by the name of Stella Raye, Lynn will premier two brand new songs—"Like a Fool" and "Beat the Blues"—which she originally recorded for a new album due out on Lost Highway next year.
Lynne has long been one considered one of the finest vocalists in contemporary country music, and her latest effort was 2008's Just a Little Lovin, a tribute to Dusty Springfield. Army Wives airs on Lifetime each Sunday at 10 p.m. EST/PST, but as always, check your local listings to be sure.
