US cops arrest ‘Jihad Jane’

US cops arrest ‘Jihad Jane’
AN American housewife who called herself “Jihad Jane” has been named as part of a Muslim assassination plot.

Colleen LaRose allegedly offered to use her blonde hair and western looks to help Islamic extremists kill a cartoonist who made fun of the Prophet Mohammed.

Described by US cops as a suburban housewife, LaRose’s arrest was linked to terror raids carried out yesterday in Ireland.

Conspiracy

Four men and three women, all Muslim immigrants, were arrested as part of an international investigation into a plot to kill Lars Vilks.

The Swedish cartoonist drew the Prophet Mohammed with the body of a dog in 2007.

LaRose, 46, who also used the online name Fatima Rose, was arrested in October by the FBI terrorism unit at her home in Pennsylvania.

Since her arrest Irish police have had her co-conspirators under surveillance.

Details of LaRose’s arrest were only revealed following the terror raids in the Irish republic.

She has been charged with conspiracy to provide help to foreign terrorists and conspiracy to kill in a foreign country and faces life in prison if convicted.
