Nomar Garciaparra
Nomar Garciaparra : Just out of curiosity I wanted to see how Nomar Garciaparra, who retired with the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday morning, among shortstops already in the MLB Hall of Fame and his stats here:
Nomar Garciaparra: BA: .313 (3rd), OBP: .361 (T-9th), Q: .521 (1st), visits: 1,747 (18th), Home runs: 229 (4th), RBIs]: 936 ( 10th) and runs: 927 (18th), stolen bases: 95 (16th).
In terms of his own Hall of Fame worthiness, I think it comes down to a number of factors.
Here’s my quick take in some areas in mind whether he should get in as a Short:
Authority Figures: Yes. It really should be ranked third in the category of a home run if shocked Robin Yount, who spent nearly half his career as a player defense. The tenth in RBIs] P is also very good.
