Olsen’s life was one color, beginning in his hometown of Logan, Utah, to Utah State University, where he was in school the best interior lineman and won a foreigner to prove it. He also dealt with other roles, including starring in a series of its own, “Father Murphy” playing the character Jonathan Garvey on NBC’s “Little House on the Prairie”, and to serve as spokesman for FTD florists in commercials.
