rand Teton National Park : Jagged peaks of the Teton Range are some of the most famous mountains in the world. Only 40 miles long and about 8 miles wide, and the Tetons are the hallmark of the Grand Teton National Park.
Wyoming sprawling, 485-square-mile park is full of rugged and beautiful terrain.

“Tetons and very creative and so exciting because you have this flat plane, the valley of Jackson Hole, you have this sudden rise of these vertical peaks of granite,” said Jackie Skaggs, Public Affairs Officer, theGrand Teton National Park.

Tetons and boasted eight peaks over 12,000 feet. In the highest peaks of the mountains, Grand Teton, and brings to 13,770 feet high. Height given the name of the Grand Teton, or “Big Mommy” in French, or by French Canadian Iroquois settlers.

Located in northwest Wyoming, just north of the city of Jackson, Wyoming, Grand Teton National Park is 485 square miles of rugged western landscape includes a wide range of wild flora and fauna indigenous population. Mountains receive more than 400 inches of snow annually, and about 200 inches in the valley, to transform the lush summer scene in Wonderland in the winter.
